| The Economic Roundtable
of Jacksonville was founded in 1975 to provide a forum for economic
issues and a network for local economists and those interested in
business economics. The Roundtable is the Jacksonville chapter of the
National Association for Business Economics (NABE). The Roundtable has about 150 active members from a variety of industries and professions in business, government, academia and non-profit organizations. From September to June, the Roundtable conducts monthly luncheon meetings featuring guest speakers who are leaders in their fields and offer timely and insightful presentations in areas such as: * Real Estate and Land Use * International Trade * Environmental Issues * Securities, Investment and Finance * Economic Outlook from leading national economists * Public policy * Education * Local Business and Industry |
